Abu Hurayra reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whosoever performs a pilgrimage, during which he is not guilty of any wrongdoing, will return home as washed from his sins as he was coming into the world. Reported by Bukhari and Muslim. Abu Hurayra reports that the Prophet (saas) said: "an omra absolves the sins committed between it and the one that precedes it, and an approved pilgrimage has no reward other than paradise. Hadith recorded by Bukhari and Muslim. According to Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them), a man among the Ansar came to see the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and said to him: O Messenger of Allah, Come to question you on certain words [....] The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "You came to question me about the reward of the pilgrim when he goes out of his house, his reward when he is stationed in Arafa...

The hajj, more than a dream, an ambition

Image
Be aware my sister, that the hajj must not be a dream, but an ambition, a true goal for which we will have to work. How many have left us without being able to touch the kaaba , if only with our eyes? Allah alone knows our term, let us not be of those who have spent for the life of this world, without having thought for a moment of the hereafter. Pilgrimage is an intense, trying journey, but it is above all a journey of the heart, which will last a lifetime, the beginning of a renewal. It is an act of worship which, when performed with sincerity, nullifies all sins committed in the past. Glory be to Allah The generous, The forgiving! Would not you like to reset all accounts? To be cleansed of all your faults and failings? Start a new life in the satisfaction of Allah azwajal and flood your daily with the blessing of your Lord? So make the decision now, that from today you will make the causes to leave to the Hajj. No matter how long it t...

Lack of religious knowledge

This argument is absolutely not one! There are no criteria to fulfill or "level of faith" to achieve to accomplish the hajj. As with prayer, or the wearing of the veil, this argument is often a false pretext for the person who has not sincerely anchored in his heart the will to accomplish this worship. For on the contrary, it is by making the causes to draw you closer to Allah that your faith will grow. If your true goal is to become a better believer, then the hajj is certainly one of the biggest causes for you to achieve this goal.  The Prophet (alaihi salat wa salam) said: (Allah said, "I am with my servant, according to his opinion of me, and I am with Him when He mentions me. If He mentions Himself to Himself, I will mention Him in myself, and if He mentions me in an assembly, I will mention Him in a better assembly than His own. If He approaches me with a span, I will bring him closer to him by a cubit, and if he approaches me by ...

How to do without mahram?

Image
Indeed my sisters, without mahram, it is impossible to go to Mecca and therefore to fulfill his hajj. But what if we see things differently? If you're reading me right now, you do not have a mahram to accompany you, what's stopping you from starting to save for the day when it will happen? Allah is great and he is capable of everything. And he may permit you in the same year to marry and accomplish the pilgrimage. Imagine the joy of your future husband when he learns that you have saved to accomplish this adoration by his side. Then put your trust in Allah and do not waste a minute to start saving! Children It is true; it is extremely difficult for a mother to leave her children at an early age. But once again, Allah is the best of the protectors. By taking the firm decision to accomplish your pilgrimage with the single intention of bringing you closer to Allah, be sure, sister, that He will facilitate you. Once your hajj is fulfilled, y...

The hajj, an obligation

Image
Yet Allah informs us of his obligatory character in Surat Al-Imran verse 96/97: [96] The first house that was built for the people is the blessed Bakka (Mecca) and good direction for the universe. 97. For umrah packages  Umrah Tour packages . Oddly, although every Muslim is aware that the pilgrimage to Mecca is a pillar of Islam, an obligation for those who can afford it, many of us do not really attach importance to it, or at least not Not make the causes to accomplish it. “For the people who have the means. ", This condition on which we often rely to say that we are not really concerned with the obligation, is it really valid for us? There is a big difference between "the one who cannot afford  " and "the one who does not have the means”! Now, if we look more closely at it, do we really make sure we can accomplish this worship? Are we considering it at its true value? Do we have the firm intention to accompli...
